Do I need a library card?

Yes. You will need a library card to place your hold through our online catalog and to pick up items. You will need to show your library card or an ID at the time of pickup to make sure you are receiving the right books.

Temporary Cards

If you do not have a library card, you can ask to receive a temporary “digital” card by calling 775-738-3066.

Please note that if you sign up for a temporary library card, you may only check out two items at a time.
