Friends of Mybrary
Founding
In 2022, as part of the library rebranding project, the different Friends organizations were included as an integral piece of supporting our communities. While each location may maintain their own organization, they all fall under the umbrella of Friends of Mybrary.
The Friends of the Elko County Library was formed in late 1988.

- Support and cooperate with the library in developing library services and facilities for the community
- Lend legislative support where needed and to support the freedom to read as expressed in the American Library Association Bill of Rights
